For the third year, OU Alumni is partnering with JUSTIFI to offer
a social justice trip to Thailand for Jewish college students and young professionals.
The 10-day program between June 2nd and June 11th will expose participants to Thailand’s rich culture, allow them to understand human trafficking and child exploitation in Southeast Asia, educate and inspire Thai youth, and ride on elephants at an environmentally responsible elephant camp. They will teach English in local schools, lead activities for at-risk children, and run sessions for victimized teens. The Jewish role in world suffering will be explored while participating in incredible Tikkun Olam!
The program will focus on the following topics:
- Understanding human rights issues in SouthEast Asia
- Hands on service work
- Incredible cultural experiences
- Jewish Social Justice and Leadership programming
