Not everyone can be as involved as Allen. He was in Atlantic Seaboard NCSY, very involved with Shabbatons and latte and learning. An avid participant in JSU, Allen enjoyed learning about the different Jewish holidays. He has a lot of hakarat hatov (gratitude) toward JSU for the opportunities it gave him. He says, “JSU is the best experience for public school kids. It allows us to meet with a rabbi weekly and learn more about Judaism and connect to our roots.”
Allen currently attends school full time, majoring in accounting, at Penn State Abington . With all of his schoolwork, Allen still has time to run his own companies, AMK Marketing and Insurance Xchange that deal with marketing and health care reform.
If you didn’t think that Allen Kramerov was a prime example of a great NCSY Alumnus already, he speaks fluent Russian and uses it a lot in his business. To top it all off, Allen also participates at Hillel where he is going to volunteer for JRA (Jewish Relief Agency), where once a month they package boxes for low income families.
Allen is an inspiration to all of us. His story reminds us that we can do anything we set our minds to. Kol hakavod Allen!
